At Baker Gun Auction our goal is to get you the highest value for your gun(s). We invite you to learn how to sell your guns through us.
Consignment is where the owner of an item pays the seller a small fee to locate a buyer. We handle all of the details, from advertising, securely packing and shipping to the buyer. After the sale is complete, the owner (“consignor”) is sent a check for the net proceeds.
We auction handguns, long guns, shotguns, muzzleloaders, and rifles. Our live auctions also feature auctioning of sportsman-related items like ammunition, gun safes, holsters, scopes, reloading equipment, swords, knives, and bows.

We take possession of your firearms, fill out a consignment form that will be signed by auctioneer & seller. We store them in a secured vault, photograph and describe them, and sell them at public auction at our building in Conneaut Lake, PA and online through HiBid. While we prefer that consignors bring their firearms to us, we can arrange to pick-up if you have a large collection or have mobility issues.

Wait for auction day for items to be sold. All ammo & miscellaneous will be sold to a live crowd only at our building in Conneaut Lake, PA. Guns then start at 5:00 the day of the sale live and online. Watch your stuff sell!

Please give us 15 days after the auction to receive your check from the auction. If you have not received it within 15 days please call Sydney Baker @ 814-853-3152.
Buyer Terms:
- Onsite buyers do not pay a buyers premium, and online buyers pay a 15% premium per item.
- A 4% convenience fee is added to all credit card purchases.
- A 6% Pennsylvania sales tax is charged to all buyers purchasing items at the auction unless you are exempt from paying sales tax and provide us with that information. Purchases mailed out-of-state are sales tax exempt.
- ALL ITEMS are SOLD IN THEIR “AS-IS—WHERE-IS” CONDITION. We offer many pictures of each firearm in our on-line catalog and an opportunity for inspection the day of each auction. If you have questions about a particular firearm, please call us as we are happy to help you.
- All in-person purchasers are required to fill out a Form 4473 unless you only purchase an antique or a muzzleloader.
- PICS background checks will be completed for all buyers—even if you have a valid Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms—unless you only purchase an antique or muzzleloader, or if you have a Federal Firearms License, or if you have a Curio and Relics License and purchase a gun that is at least 50 years old.
- Out-of-state buyers will be able to purchase and leave with any long gun(s) purchased, provided that they pass a PICS background check. Handguns purchased by out-of-state buyers are required to be shipped to a Federal Firearms License holder in the buyer’s state unless you possess a Federal Firearms License and you provide us a copy of that license the day of the auction.
- Online purchases are required to be shipped to a Federal Firearms License holder in the buyer’s state. Pennsylvania residents that purchase items online can either pick their purchases up at our location or have items their shipped to a Federal Firearms License holder in their state.
